Tired of manually requesting prices from your suppliers when your customers ask for quotes? You can finally speed up this process in Magento and automate sending requests to your suppliers. When you receive a new quote request in your Cart2Quote admin panel, simply use the “Request Supplier Prices” functionality.

Requesting Supplier Prices

The Supplier Bidding Tool uses the quote request from your customer to send a price request to your supplier. Does the quote request contain products from multiple suppliers? No problem! The Supplier Bidding Tool automatically splits up the requested products and sends separate price requests only to the linked suppliers.

Supplier Bidding Process

A webshop visitor submits a quote request via your store’s front-end

You receive the request and select the "request supplier price" button

Your suppliers will receive your "request for price" e-mail for the relevant products

Link your suppliers to products

On a product per product level, you set which suppliers are linked to your products and whether they should be notified when you receive a quote request. You can select multiple suppliers per product.

What does the Supplier Bidding Tool do?

E-mail Template Use our default template or create your own to send out price requests to your suppliers.
Configure suppliers In your Magento admin panel enter supplier details simply by adding a new customer in your customer group "Supplier".
Link supplier to products Manage your products and add single or multiple suppliers to your products. Or none. The choice is yours.
Request for Price Submit your request for price and the Supplier Bidding Tool splits up the customer request automatically in several RFP’s to the linked product suppliers.
